Jeep has unveiled yet another cold weather themed special edition Wrangler.  This time it’s the Wrangler Polar Edition.  Based on the Sahara model, the “Polar” badge shows the 78° S and 106° E coordinates of Vostok, Antarctica, where the severest temperature in the world was recorded at -89.2° C (-128.56° F).  It has some exclusive options, such as cool blue exterior paint color, a hard spare tire cover and a body-colored hardtop with a deep-tint sunscreen glass.

Polar models are available in both two- and four-door form, and depending on where you live, you have the choice of a 200 hp 2.8-liter common rail diesel or a 284 hp gasoline V-6.  You can get either an auto or a manual with the diesel, but the gasoline V-6 is only available with the automatic.
